About Jan Arlenes

Jan is an accomplished jewelry designer. Her designs are inspired not only by her inner spirit and heart but by her lush surroundings in Washington State. A full time teacher, her creations renew her passion for creativity and fun.

Each piece is lovingly created, hand formed, and mounted, creating a one of a kind artwork. The main material she uses is a type of silver clay. It has small particles of sliver mixed with an organic binder that is moist. The material is worked
like clay, dried and then put in a small kiln to sinter the particles together.

Jan is a member of the PMC Guild.
